Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the NewZelo application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and NewZelo ("NewZelo," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the NewZelo mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

NewZelo is a news aggregation application that curates, translates, and presents news articles sourced from publicly available news websites, RSS feeds, and news APIs (collectively, "Third-Party Sources"). The Service also includes AI-powered features such as article summarization and a conversational assistant.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
3.1 Account Creation. To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
3.2 Account Security. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us at support@newzelo.app if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 One Account Per Person. Each account is for personal, individual use only. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account.
3.4 Social Sign-In. If you register using a third-party service (Apple Sign In, Google Sign In), you authorize us to collect information from that service as permitted by your settings with that provider. Your use of third-party sign-in is also subject to that provider's terms and policies.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this section, including terminating their account and reporting such users to law enforcement authorities.
5.1 Premium Subscription. NewZelo offers an optional paid subscription ("NewZelo Premium") that provides access to additional features, including unlimited article access, advanced personalization, and AI chat functionality. Specific features included in Premium may change over time.
5.2 Billing. All subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store. Your subscription is subject to Apple's App Store terms, which govern the billing relationship. By initiating a subscription, you authorize Apple to charge the applicable subscription fee to your Apple ID account.
5.3 Subscription Plans. NewZelo Premium is currently offered in the following plans:
5.4 Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
5.5 Price Changes. We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If we change the price of your subscription, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to the price change, you must cancel your subscription before it takes effect.
5.6 Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, go to: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → NewZelo → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Premium access until the end of the period for which you have already paid.
5.7 Refunds. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly provided herein. Refund requests for App Store purchases must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to process refunds for purchases made through Apple.
5.8 Free Trials. We may from time to time offer free trials. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Users without an active NewZelo Premium subscription may access a limited number of articles per session, as determined by us in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to modify the free tier content limits at any time. Access to certain features (including but not limited to AI chat and full article personalization) may require a Premium subscription.
7.1 Our Property. The Service, including its design, user interface, software, code, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all original content created by NewZelo (excluding Third-Party Content), is owned by NewZelo or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.
7.2 License to Use. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
7.3 Feedback. If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.
The Service aggregates and displays news content sourced from Third-Party Sources (news publishers, media organizations, and RSS feeds). This Third-Party Content is the property of its respective publishers and is made available in accordance with fair use principles, RSS/API usage terms, and applicable copyright law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEWZELO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF INFORMATION.
NEWZELO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
NEWS CONTENT AGGREGATED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. NEWZELO MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF SUCH CONTENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NEWZELO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF NEWZELO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEWZELO'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO NEWZELO IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) €100 (ONE HUNDRED EUROS).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NewZelo and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the Service; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) your violation of any applicable law.
14.1 Termination by You. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account through the App (Profile → Security & Privacy → Delete Account). Deletion of your account terminates your access to the Service and results in the permanent deletion of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14.2 Termination by Us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason we determine in our sole discretion.
14.3 Effect of Termination. Upon termination: your license to use the Service immediately ends; we may delete your account and data; and any outstanding obligations (including payment obligations) survive termination. Sections 7, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 of these Terms survive termination.
15.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
15.2 Informal Resolution. Before filing a formal legal dispute, we encourage you to contact us at support@newzelo.app to attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will try to resolve disputes within 30 days.
15.3 Jurisdiction. Subject to applicable law, any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence and may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
16.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NewZelo regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
16.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16.3 No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
16.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign our rights and obligations under these Terms.
16.5 Changes to Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice through the App or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
16.6 Language. These Terms are provided in English. In the event of any conflict between a translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
